Yes, nukes and catapults (missles) are in the game. If you build an advanced fabber in an advanced factory they can make them. So far missles are balanced rather well, catapults right now are to OP and need a tad nerfing for what they are suppose to do.
I'd say that, instead of nerfing them, it'd be kinda cool to see and advanced bot unit that has a anti-air laser that can shoot down those missiles, similar to how the point defense lasers work in C&C Generals, or the Raven's point defence drone in SC2. Doing it that way provides a situation where you have to be strategic about how you handle your units and defence, and when / where you produce catapults.
True but the problem lies when you spam them. I had one player build a ring of advance lazer turrets around a dozen or so catapults and it became impenetrable. The devs said they are plaining or have nerfed them by linking them to energy usage, which is fine by me.
But mobile artillery? and bombers? And....you know having like 20 mobile artillery fixes any 'building' problem?
