Game won't start

My friends have bought and offered me PA. Impatiently i install it but when i run the game: it directly crash and add a window who says ap.exe cannot run and must to close. Somebody may have an Idee how can i do to play ? (sorry for my bad english, i only learned it for 1 years)

giving some more information about your system u are running on might help and what are u running on? linux,mac,windows 7/8?

Thought it might be better if I also added my dxdiag as I have the same issue. I cannot seem to get to the title screen.

If you follow the steps as described in SXX's post above you can get the report.

You won't able to run this game with 2GB of RAM. And actually your laptop is really bellow minimal requirements, so even if you install additional RAM game probably won't give you playable FPS.

Also you have outdated video drivers:

This won't let you play PA, but you can update drivers anyway, so you'll get better performance in other application and games.

Same issue again. 2GB of RAM just isn't enough - you need at least 4GB really.

Intel laptop graphics isn't exactly awesome, either. You can just about get away with it, but the lack of RAM is more than enough to make it unplayable.

Ive been getting stuck on a black screen when trying to connect to the game after hitting ready in the lobby as it tops out my ram usage to over 7 gb. hope you guys are working on a fix for better connection im sure its not just me.

How many planets you have in system which use 7GB? Also is this only one GTX 680 or SLI?

Few other ideas you can try, some of them help to Nvidia users with performance problems and long loading times.:

• If you run game though Steam try to disable Steam overlay as I explained here:

• Try to verify game contents in Steam/launcher.
• Try to run game with administrator privileges.
• If you using antivirus/firewall software disable it.
• If you have any CPU-intensive software running close it before run PA.
• Try to enable all graphics settings to Uber. For some people it's increase performance.
