i get this message 9 out of 10 times i try to host a game or join someone..is this supposed to be "normal" in this beta? it is really hard to join someone.sometimes it works most of the times it doesnt and the games i manage to join..the launcher crashes after loading for a while
I know you probably already have, but try restarting your client a few times. Connection errors are never "normal", but they happen. It was a lot worse yesterday when everyone got their beta keys, and you pretty much could not join / create games. Hang in there.
Slow loading times and connection problems might be related to server side problems (but also might be related to your internet connection). Please attach your DxDiag.txt.
You have outdated drivers: Code: Card name: AMD Radeon HD 6900M Series Driver Date/Size: 12/6/2011 05:16:00, 933888 bytes First open this page and download and run "AMD Mobility Radeon™ Driver Verification Tool": http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx If this tool give you driver to install just use install it and you won't get crashes anymore. If tool saying that your hardware isn't compatime, you need to do this: Backup important files from laptop if you have any. Then download and install "Latest Beta Driver" from same page. Generic drivers never break anyone system on this forum, but I'm recommend backup anyway. After driver updated game should work fine for you.
thx, i have just been using samsungs own driver update, that auto updates sometimes..but didnt know it was that back in time..will get beta driver asap and check how it works now
Unfortunately laptop manufacturer don't update video drivers for long and usually abandon updates in less then a year after laptop released on market.
