I'm really don't sure how playable this will be, but your GPU should support required OpenGL extensions and also you have enough RAM. So let's see what performance Beta brings.

my processor have never really given me problems and I'm on 64bit operating system so I think as long as the graphics card works I'll be ok :) but if not then my build up of not being able to play this game will be unleashed and blow up everyone I meet once I get a new PC that can run it :)

    This is your problem:
    Code:
Sound Tab 1: No sound card was found. If one is expected, you should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.
PA will crash on start if there no sound card, you probably need to install drivers on it.
And please: next time upload DxDiag as file using "Upload a File" button!

This hardware is enough to run game and it's above minimal requirements.

I've got a Radeon HD 4850 and it doesn't work better, it's crashing all the time, when I'm trying to generate a planet biome environment, or even simulate a solar system rotation.
I guess I'll have to wait untill I can afford a new graphic card or some update which will fix that problem.

Take off the side of your case and take photos of any stickers on the PSU.

Can you upload (NOT POST IT ON FORUM!) your new DxDiag.txt? Also can you try to run PA.exe directly as administrator?

Well, yeah, I'm kinda disapointed too, I thought my computer was not that old... I can still run Total War Rome II though.
Maybe it's a problem of processor? Same age as my GC but still a good one, it's a Q6600 (or something like that) a 5 or 6 years old quad core.

To be fair after that's all I don't know... But if there no sound card in DxDiag it's mean it's not working properly.

Have you tried to update sound card drivers and reboot?
