In supreme commander I could just select a transport, right click the unit I want to transport and it would load. It doesn't seem to work in this game. I see no load icon either. Is this a bug or am I just an idiot?

    1. select the lander
    2. left click S.Move on the left under the actions a unit can perform
    3. left click on the ground, the lander will spiral downwards to that point
    4. select your commander or a land engineer
    5. right click on the lander
    6. once loaded, left click s. move on the lander and left click on the ground, the lander will go back into orbit
    7. zoom out to the system and find the planet you want
    8. zoom in to the surface of the planet and right click with the lander selected
    9. the lander will break orbit and fly to the planet but it won't land yet
    10. select the lander and click unload, the lander will descend and drop off the unit.
    11.???

    So I can't load tanks?
I was hoping to make a landing party to reenact D-day in space.

Only commanders & fabrication bots/vehicles can be loaded at this stage.

There might be an interplanetary transport for that sort of thing, one that will carry more than one unit.

    Also, unit cannons.

I hope so. It would make it a lot easier to invade other planets.

Yeah its a bit confusing atm, i hope its gonna be more smooth like you build it, it sticks to building, and you load unit into building and it takes off.

Sometimes it also refuses to do what you tell it to do :p gotta be firm with the clicking hehe

Agreed. However, in a way they're nicer because they're reusable. If Uber went solely off of the kickstarter, a new transport would have be built for each unit. That, IMO, would be a pain in the ***.
