Hello, I just bought Planetary Annihilation, and I'd like to know what the hell is going on here!? It's like this game isn't even finished! Bwahahah. A joke, friends. I am really really enjoying this Alpha - excellent work ladies and gents of Uber. Truly an outstanding game. On to the suggestions. From a gameplay perspective, I think it's a bit tough to tell what's going on. For instance, you tell me what kind of unit I am hovering over (and because of the scale of the game, it can occasionally be hard to stay hovering over a particular unit), but when I've selected a group of units I don't really have an indication of who I've got selected or how many of them there are. I think it might be a good place to start to just keep that information exactly where it is on hover. I hate how SC makes it like a centerpiece of information - think it'd be pretty cool to just maybe stack the information up where your hover info already is. THE MUST HAVE: Because of the scale of this game, it is essential you guys add an "Idle Fabricator" button. Absolute necessity. 100% needed. Super in love with this game, trying to convince my friends to buy alpha to support y'all. Also, as this is my first post here, please do inform me if there's a better place to put this. I didn't want to put it into the tracker because it seems like you're reserving that specifically for bugs, and I haven't run into any bugs yet (huge win!).
I agree that we need more selection information. There was a mod that changed the ui to show what unit types you had selected. The JS is now sent the unit types and counts, so the mod could be updated to give the information you need. The JS is even sent the projected position of the hover target. There is a keybind to select idle fabbers (default is f). There are actually a number of rebind-able selection hotekeys (select all air, select all factories, etc...).
I could list selection type things they need to add. Factory assist, so a factory can literally in two clicks follow the build rally and patrol of another factory. Setting a factory to be able to assist a unit like the commander, which causes any units built by factory to follow its target and if its a fabber to build assist. Maybe even a hotkey to press and automatically turn off some fabbers to prevent going below 0 resources. Maybe i am ****, but i currently micro this if i have too many fabbers assisting.
Wait -- so can anyone build mods in JS? Or just employees? I'm experienced with JS and would love to build some mods

I'm not sure if it's the case here, but I never see the CAPTCHA, and I believe other forum software disable CAPTCHAs after a user has posted a certain number of times?
