Seriously, the bots are so incredibly broken it's unbelievable, not even the commander can kill a micromanaged bot!

It desperately needs to be fixed, it breaks the game!

xD oh god. In before *something about balance not implemented yet*

Balance isn't being worked on until they're either decently into, or well into beta. Not only does the game have to function, units have to function, they have to actually implement the core mechanisms of the game that are probably not even started yet.

Don't think the current status quo of the game's balance is staying the way it is, because it's been stated that it will not, and advancements of unit AI will improve so tremendously that you may not even recognize the game from it's current standpoint.

Remember when the d-gun would kill all those pesky little pee wees and could be aimed manually to deal with the stragglers? Good times.

Seriously stop this. Balance design takes more time and effort than just about anything else. It's important to know the issues early and often.

Considering that the games features haven't even been finished yet, thats like complaining that a cars speed is bad when it hasn't got any wheels yet.

Complaining g about how stuff works when they are still making its content and fixing the bugs is utterly pointless.
    smallcpu and Grounders10 like this.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's pointless, but I would say it's a little premature.

There are a variety of techniques to killing bots.

The best technique is to have a two pronged counter attack. Have units or towers on two sides of the bots and they'll be vulnerable to at least one of them.

Bots are also a good counter to bots.

Also, largeish blobs of units tend to take out even micro managed bots.

Another thing to consider, while your opponent is working hard to micromanage those bots, you can work on expanding and building a bigger economy with more production power.

And as been said, it's Alpha.

If I remember correctly, Uber has mentioned they'll be adding leading capabilities. So units will shoot ahead of their moving target in an attempt to hit where the bot will be.

    Or you know..a bomber...
They tend to work great against blobs.

Bombers have a very difficult time hitting moving bots. And the splash damage is minimal and they don't drop bombs very often while they make passes.

While bombers can damage bots, it's not a very effective technique.

Bombers are pretty good against small bot raids actually.

At the current stage of alpha some of the weapons track but they don't fire at where their target will be, only where they are, hence lots of misses. its an alpha thing.
