If you have Windows 8 installation and working PA on it please copy these files:
    C:\Windows\system32\d3d9.dll
    C:\Windows\SysWoW64\d3d9.dll
Pack with ZIP and upload as attachment or on any file hosting.

I'm really need it to find reason of crash for one of PA players.

Thank you, just checked that there DLLs are same for few different Win8 machines, wasn't sure about it's architecture.

Seems so. There few people who have problems with Pentium/Celeron Sandy Bridge CPU which have HD2000-based graphics..

SXX, I've been reading through tech specs, and I have some concerns that the pentium/celeron sandy bridge processors may have had a few TOO many features turned off on them. But it's proving hard to find definitive information about what those chips support. i3 - i7 Sandy Bridge is pretty clear.. celeron less so.

I have a laptop with one of the Celerons, I wasn't using my desktop at the time I bought PA and I couldn't play it, just showed a black window then crashed.

But they still use same drivers as normal HD2000/3000. And also I need to notice that game is working on these chips before this update, but were broken with HD2000/3000.

As long as I understand you only start use of LOD extension, right?

Might be we can ask people to upload their glewinfo output? It's pretty good tool for reporting of OGL possibilities.

There already was pretty strange situation with very old GeForce 7900 GTX:

According to Nvidia site it's supporting OpenGL 3 and in reality it's not.

PS: I just think that if integrated GPUs use same driver there at least there should be software fallback for some features which may be disabled in it.

You can provide helpful information if you upload DxDiag from this laptop. ;)

I'm realistic person and I understand that probably game won't work on such hardware anywhere near to good for long time, but I think at least we need to know why is that happen.
