I know the system editor save function isn't in but I was wondering if the full version or possibly a math formula would allow you to set the planets in a way to collide on a certain rotational pass. Say on the 106th pass the orbit destabilizes and they collide etc.

I think we actually don't need destabilization even. If realistic physics mode used we only need to give planets correct mass, orbit and speed.

I also think game will have collision prediction system anyway, so it's should be fairly easy.

This type of thing has been talked about on Live Streams and in teh forums, it can essentially be a 'sudden death' type game mode and have many other uses, I expect we'll some some kind fo way to set this situations up at some point, maybe/probably not at release.

I was imagining that I could make a game where you must escape to say a third planet before the starting two are destroyed.
