Hey, My In-game name has changed from "Greppy" to TOETOEUK? :shock: :lol: Is there a reason for this? Is there a name change service?
Any screen caps? Im not sure what to say otherwise. Are you positive you didnt get your named confused with someone elses
I can assure you I login as "Greppy". (Forum, bug-tracker and Ubernet). Here is a screencap. http://imgur.com/poR420F EDIT: http://imgur.com/d4Xlbuj - correct name showing in the bug-tracker, I can't find any "Before" screenshots, only shots I ever made were for bugs and are long gone.
I did a few weeks ago, but got no response its not urgent and uber have a lot on their plate so I haven't pestered
When I look up your account your username and display name are "greppy". I'm not sure what's going on here. I'll reply to the e mail you sent as well and see if somebody with more talent in our user database can figure this out.
It appears you converted your Ubernet PA key to a Steam game key, activated it in Steam, then linked a different Ubernet account to your Steam account.
Speaking of in-game name, I hate that I got stuck with Techvert (carry over from a registration problem when I was in the beta for SMNC). I always played as Techubus and had my forum account under that name. Hoping there will be an option to set a display name or at least use my Steam display name eventually.
Since display names are working now is there a way to change it? I change it on the my account page and it reverts back when I log onto PA and changes on my account page too.
If you're not playing through Steam, login to our store at http://store.uberent.com and select Account. You can update your Display name there.
Will it be ever possible to have a different ingame name than your steam name? My steam name is used by many games that I play, if I want to add something like a clantag, changing my steam name would essentially change the names for those other games too. It is tedious to constantly change the name around.
