Avatar and Avatar Factory? That sounds interesting. Perhaps it is that "megabot" in the unit files? Or maybe experimentals? Isn't that the same thing? What is this?
Seriously that should be possible when Uber implement API for allowing/disallowing camera/microphone access though Coherent. Currently it's have built-in support for devices, but some additional code required.
It looks like this and is HERETIC and FURRY. Thereby distracting your enemy's units as they attempt to remove it from existence.
At best: The avatar will turn out to be a giant mech suit for your commander, improving its combat abilities. In the worst case: The avatar will turn out to be just a regular T4 unit, with orbital units being T3.
It's just a debug unit. Relevant blueprint data: Code: "build_metal_cost": 270, "description": "For debugging purposes", "display_name": "Avatar Commander", "max_health": 2, "production": { "energy": 100000, "metal": 10000 } "unit_name": "Avatar Commander" And it's build data: Code: "construction_demand": { "energy": 100000, "metal": 10000 } "max_range": 100000 It uses the fabrication aircraft model.
This actually sounds like a really neat idea. That way it would kind of be an upgrade to your commander so he wouldn't be so easy to kill with snipes. It would function just like a transport, except that only your commander could enter it, and it couldnt move if the commander was not in it. Also he would be badass to actually USE in a late game assault, with the caveat that of course if he dies, you lose. Not at all like supcom where experimentals were everywhere.
Hahahaha... Yea you're right, but I bet somebody will make a great mod to do exactly this. Or at least I hope so.
