Hi developers after seeing the last live stream I find myself thinking more and more about what is to come.
I no the game is alpha and not finished and I am all so aware there is no point polishing a concept to much
but I have showed the game to a few friends now and the game idea is easy to sell. But I am having trouble explaining what you will do to make the game look good as at the moment it looks a bit life less. This is not a insult to the game but more curiosity what you have in mind to bring it alive and look real graphics, lighting, unit movement etc.

My only fear of this game is it has all the parts of a Ferrari but looks like a Go Kart.

    System editor is very cool.

If you show your friends the kickstarter trailer, that's basically exactly what they're aiming for PA to look like when completed, if not better. (Is that even possible?)

It's at least a good point of reference of where they're trying to go with the game. It's going to be as close of a recreation of that video as possible. Now the question of how they are going to do it goes into the art and design departments, and I don't actually know much about the process of recreating the artwork and design of the video and making it reality. It's a good question though, and I'm a bit interested in that as well.

And if you fear a game will play like a Ferrari but look like a Go Kart, maybe you haven't heard of Minecraft. Entire game is made from Java, looks like a 3D Microsoft Paint, everything's made of cubes, and it's one of the most popular damn indie games ever made. Point in case, graphics do not make the game. At all. Gameplay does. Always will.

They just recruited an graphics specialst. I think we can expect some graphic updates and optimization in the near future until beta. Or at least then during beta.

The game lacks Post Processing, meaning that things like Bloom Effects, glows, flares, smooth shadows, gamma/color correction and all that aren't in yet. All of these things make the game look much better; especially color correction, which will give the game a livelier, jucier look like the Kickstarter Trailer. In addition, Dynamic Shadows still need some optimization, and more dynamic lights will be coming in the future.

I really think like the game is now, really need about 2 years to be a good game.
The reason is that the idea uber want to this game, its really going to be hard grabing players, so it need really hard work.
Play an rts in a sphere planet, and not the usual field won´t like many players, and im talk has a player and i dont like play rts in sphere field, but im try to ust to it.
But they really got ideas to mark this game in history, just don´t now iff with the right options.
1 thing is make a game has they think they like, other its us players, that play so many games what will we find here? a game to play only 2/3 months or a game to play long time?
Many rts games at are coming up .
something i like in other games with sequels, they leave the idea of the first and only innovate, unfortunately after Forged aliance all that stop.
Maybe that's why this community is really small.
    Games like

Command and Conquer 'Beyond The Battle
    Starcraft 2
    Diablo 3

They try give to fans what they like,i think after FA no one cares about what we like.
I never find anymoore a game like
    supreeme commander.
do not get me wrong, but I think this game should not be associated with a sequel, it should be known as a new and different game.
This was the mistake of supreeme commander 2

There are nicer ways of asking (obviously) non-native speakers to clear up their messages.
