https://www.humblebundle.com/ A pretty sweet deal IMO. Especially since Mirror's Edge is the only game there which I've played before. You'll get 2 codes for 5 of the games (one for Steam and one for Origin) so you can give your friends some free copies.
It was $4.60 a few days ago Actually if you're willing to skip BF3 and Sims3, you can get the other 6 for $1(minimum donation), pay $4.82 for BF3/Sims3
This'll probably be my first Humble Bundle where I don't beat the average. I already own BF3 and even though I'd like to play Sims3 I can pass on it.
Dead space: played it on xbox, didn't like it burnout : played it crysis: want it mirrors edge: played it, disappointed dead space 3: not interested medal of honor : not interested Battlefield : not interested sims 3: not itnerested Honestly I avoid buying bundles of games and neglecting them. I do give props to EA for not taking anything. Also I am not up for buying any new games, I still have a few in my steam inventory from the summer sale.
It was for charity, and Burnout is probably the only one I'm getting the most use of: its a fun online car chase game (which usually devolves into everyone smashing each other on a small stretch) and I've always just liked that franchise. Played a little Sims, started on Dead Space, couldn't play BF3 because of performance. No interest in MOH and already owned Mirrors Edge
Whoa, that's neat. If you hit Reply but do nothing with it(i.e. close tab/browser), the forum saves it in the quick reply field
As I remember it, Burnout Paradise was a bit of a departure from the rest of the series in regards to gameplay. Not a very well received one.
The actual driving mechanics are very much the same, arcadey with boosting, big crashes, drifts. I quite like the changes although it does make certain races hard becuase there's a lot of working out the route yourself instead of following a set path
I played Burnout Revenge and loved it, but skipped Paradise since it was on games systems I didn't have. I picked up the bundle anyway though for the "future". I more wanted other games like Dead Space 3 since I did play #1 and own #2. I am kind of sad about one thing though, I was figuring they'd drop the usual second week bonus game for everyone who paid any amount (a tradition for all non weekly bundles). But seems like they're not going for that this time. I suppose they had to draw a line somewhere with how much they were giving this time.
Dead Space was a laugh for making my brother get it. He was complaining that he couldn't see how games could be scary, and while DS isn't the scariest game out there, it still made him crap himself (figuratively, not literal pants-soiling)
haha. Not sure how much the first one scared me since I totally played in a full lit room but it did get me a few times I guess :T yeah..spoke too soon, thought they usually did it earlier. "Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising & Populous"
