I found it annoying that the PLAY SIMULATE button on the system editor didn't change when clicked. This small mod changes it to say "SIMULATE" when stopped and "PAUSE" when running. It also shows whether planet rotation is shown (PHYSICS ON) or not (PHYSICS OFF) Installation Current build: 52973 (version 3) Step 1: Download the rEditorPlayPause_v2.zip attachment, and extract it to <PA Install directory>/PA/media/ui/mods/ Step 2: Install the PA UI Mod Manager: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/rel-ui-mod-manager-v1-2.50726/ Tick the box for "Editor Play/Pause Button" to enable to mod.
Done, it now says what the current physics mode is. Wasn't sure what to name them, so it's "Normal" and "Sandbox" for now.
"Linked" vs "Newtonian" or maybe (in the case of my experience with the editor) "Organized" vs "Cluster$&%#"?
I think the actual difference is "Normal" only cares about the gravity of the paired object it's orbiting (and is therefore completely stable), whereas the "Sandbox" accounts for all gravitational forces (and therefore is incredibly hard to make stable with even a small number of planets).
