This topic has probably already been mentioned by users but I haven't found one yet so I thought I would address it. Currently AI know instantly where a player base is, I know its alpha and everything but I just thought id mention it incase the topic wasn't already said. I know they know where my base is because they all attack at the same time, if they were trying to locate my base then it would take much less time.
The AI doesn't know here your base is, they just patrol around the planet randomly and stumble upon it.
Not according to Sorian, it has the same FOW as you do, but it builds only air and randomly patrols bombers around to find the player. Sounds like either you've just happened to always spawn nearby the AI or it just gets lucky when sending out bombers. Mike
Yeah ive been told it doesnt. I wish the game saved replays though, because the AI in the 2 games i checked the replay before leaving, it flight straight over my base from his own, but again it could just be luck. It just seems to be way to good at scouting compared to a human. Its VERY hard to keep track where you scouted on a sphere as it stands now.
The AI does not cheat. The AI doesn't even scout. It just sends bombers on patrols to random locations around the planet.
It probably is just that their patrols are finding me then but it just seems like they already know where i am since they all attack within 10 seconds of each other
If you spawn reasonably close to an AI, then frequency off attacks will be higher (random patrol vectors from their base are more likely to go near/over yours. They also assist construction now, meaning more bombers than ever before
