    Could one thing that you guys could work on be a Skirmish mode in single player so we could work on strategies and test out weapons. And could you also make it have an infinite war option like in supreme commander 2?

    Yeah, but you can't change any of the options really like in supreme commander 2, so it is not a true skirmish.

    Welcome to Alpha, when things aren't complete. Things like lobby options are way down on the priority list when compared to things like Orbital units/gameplay, interplanetary Gameplay and the System Editor. But they have added options as they've made sense like being able to host a game on a generated planet you've saved.

    Yeah, but I would like it if you could at least change the difficulty of the ai, and allow you to keep playing even when all the enemies are destroyed.

    There is no adjusting the AI, what you see in game is the most recent version, it's still very much a super WIP version, although it has come a long way since it was first introduced a few patches ago.

    Dude... take your ear wax out and listen to what people have been answering this whole thread : THIS . IS . ALPHA .

    there is no "different AI's" ...don't you realize? There are no AIs. what we have currently is a placeholder. It's not an AI, it has no code, no directives, it can't tell appart units, it can't tell appart terrain, and it only can use a single unit for which the pathfinding was sufficiently bug-free.

    Pathfinding is not complete. and untill it is, there won't be a point sitting down to code an AI.

    see how lost you are? come back when the game is actually released and sold in stores.

    They say so up front, we aren't psychic, but if you look at things present in prior games like SupCom:FA it should give you a good basic understanding of the basics to expect, sandbox was already present in SupCom and it's natural given the Modding aspects of the game.

    Anyways, the best you can really hope for is to get one of your friends to jump on the band wagon and then experiment and try things out with them. Alternatively you can watch one of the wonderful streams or casts on Petardia.com or PAmatches.com, both of which are excellent wonderful sites for newbies and anyone looking for something awesome to watch.

    Sorry about the attitude of everyone by the way, we've been under a bit of tension as of late, between each other and with Uber. I think it's been more or less resolved with people taking what they will away from it, but expect to get a bit of flak unless you are 100% completely entirely informed. Don't take it personally, we aren't trying to be hostile, we're just a bunch of needy spoiled brats. :)
