Cooldown between reporting of posts is irritating, but far better than the 600 seconds I'm used to on another forum.

Yeah the reporting delay is annoying. Is it really necessary?

I think someone said a few pages back it's to prevent abuse

Generally it's to prevent abuse; i.e. targeting posters you do not like and spam-reporting their posts. After reporting a few of the bots, I'm not that fussed by the delay on here.

As I've said, another forum has a 10 minute wait time between reports. Now that's annoying :p

+1 to this, it makes linking to stuff in text a bit of a pain :p

Yeah I saw that, I'm asking whether it is such a problem that it is really necessary to slow down and inconvenience people who are reporting ad bots.

I'd consider it a necessary step; we've seen our fair share of . . . "problematic" users and that will only increase once we get into beta (and then again when the game goes live). That's just my opinion though.

To lazy to actually search this thread, but I kinda want deleting your own posts back.

Am I just stupid and blind but is there no "mark forums read" button or option anymore? It annoys me quite some as it makes it hard for me to see if there's new stuff in the forum.

(Also... dark theme please? I'm getting eye cancer from all the white. :p )

"Mark Forums Read" is the first button on the grey bar directly beneath the "Forums" tab.

Will go over all posts as-of yesterday and reply to them but...

You have never been able to, only when your post was the last post in the topic. Not if there were replies after your posts. You can edit your content, but we can always revert it back to its original state, which we can't if you blatantly go on a deleting rampage and thus mess up the forum integrity.

Whats it doing all the way in the upper left with all the other options that I never use? o_O:D

Thanks a lot, really didn't see it and it bugged me to no end. :(

(As does the smilies btw. RAAAAGE.)

Edit: Since I'm allready making a fool out of myself asking silly questions... is there a way to hide Avatar pictures and those silly stats below them? They blow up short comments way too much. Too much scrolling for poor me. :(

And to make the number of pages in a thread always visible instead only on hovering?

And can I mark forums or threads as read without having to go through that pop-up everytime? Don't wanna use 2 clicks for something that can be done with one. :)

Just please fix links links links (CLICK HERE) styles! :(

    All links should have:
    1. Underline. It's should be here all the time, if link not some page design element.
    2. Different color than post text, by default. Better if it's default blue #0000FF.
    3. Different color on "hover", better some orange or red
Links from user posts also should have different color when visited.

Personally I'd not have gone for Xenforo myself but I assume you had your reasons.

I'd like to see a darker theme as well or maybe even some to choose from. I'm also missing a few other display options (e.g. hiding smilies or avatars, number of posts/threads per page and date/time formats), doesn't Xenforo provide those or did you choose to disable them?

Other than that I'm quite indifferent about the new forums. It's still a work in progress, we'll see how I feel about it when it's a bit more polished.

I've deleted so many of my own posts. But I'm less of a butt than I used to be, so I can put on my big boy pants.

That's what he meant. For me, it was saying something I regretted and deciding to delete it before too many people saw it.

I really just right click and adblock. not so great on avatars (but still works), but on those large signatures, it's great.
