A bunch of posts just disappeared

For some reason, a number of posts made after the switchover seem to have disappeared. Is this a bug?

Edit: Bah! Ninja'd.

It's an unfortunate loss, but there is nothing that can be done about it. We took the utmost care to make sure nothing got lost, but it seems it still happened regardless, I suspect this is because we didn't lock the DB properly before backing up, meaning posts were made while we were running the backup.

No they means posts that were just made, at least up to an hour ago, are gone now. I remember posting in the Live Stream thread and garat posted after me. Both those posts are gone... and my like. lol

I know posts disappeared before the forum update. I had assumed it was due to backup frequency as you mentioned.

I'm specifically talking about posts after the update. As in the last couple of hours.

Oh damnit, I think I messed up a DB backup then :/ My sincere apologies, luckily only 1 hour of data should be lost in that case because I make backups constantly. Things are still work in process >.<

Then I'll report my request: we need advanced code highlighter for CODE tag.
At least one for JavaScript strongly required for modding section, but other languages highlighting will be useful too.

Is there no option to stay logged in currently?
