Is there anyway to get hold of the old balance patches for way way back, I want to test a few things and debate on a few things.

You could create a mod rolling back previous balance changes. In the very early days a lot of the balance changes are no longer available and some changes cannot be modded back.

Any specific build?

Not sure on the actual build, im looking for classic pre tr2 re balance, the one directly before.

Will need a specific build number. You could look through old http://pa-db.com/ builds.

You're talking about the balance from around Feb-April 2013? That'll be found in the late beta/early gamma builds.
