Cannot start any game or campain

Hey my name is Luca and my game doesn't load any skirmish/multi or campain. It is stuck on the Accesing worlds loading screen.

in the attached file are my logs of today's try.

hope to hear from you soon my drivers are up to date and game file is fine aswell.

Do you (or did you) have PAMM installed?

Delete PAMM files from wherever you downloaded & extracted them to.

From C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\...

Delete the PAMM folder , mods folder and client_mods folder

Use the in-game Community Mod Manager instead of PAMM.

Try running directly from your PC instead of through Steam

For me it's C:\Games\Planetary Annihilation\Planetary Annihilation\stable\PA.exe

You could also try to delete your download cache directory that's also located here: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\local\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation
It won't uninstall your mods (it's just a cache directory) so don't worry about losing them.

I don't have PAMM on my PC so far I cant find it. Deleted the mods folder and I cannot find the client_mod file. didn't work

The Steam Overlays can also cause conflicts

Navigate to

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\download

and delete the contents.


Restart PA and attempt to play an AI skirmish. If it fails, close PA, navigate to:

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log

and upload a fresh PA log file generated by that session

Just to double check, you did delete the contents of your download folder?

yes but it reininstalled it when I checked it again

I can start campains now but when I win the game freezes and I have to ALT+F4 when I want to join a multiplayer game it just say logging in and doesn't go on from that.

That's fine. That just the cache for your mods. You deleted the original contents to make sure you had the most recent, valid mods. Some older mods have become problematic over time as the originators have not kept them current.

the skirmish still doesn't work tho any more tips?

For the multi-player games, try going into the game Settings>Server and select a different region.

I'm running out of juice, but hopefully someone with more technical savvy will come along and help.

well ty for helping anyway but changing the server region didn't work aswell. I saw sometimes a dev replies so maybe im lucky and a dev will see this I really ejoyed the game at the start wanted to play again. Thanks again for the quick replies!

Also, go into game Settings > Graphics and set HDR to OFF.
