Is there any information about the size ingame? Are the units too large or are the planets too small? It's strange to see how a Titan that is perfectly visible from space jumps without any damage to the planet. If these units are so huge, at least in the gameplay, it's really cool and makes me love the game even more

The planets have a size that can range from 250-1300 and even bigger for gas giants.
As for the size of units there are a few Titans which are much bigger then the normal units and even most of the buildings.

Thnx for answer, but. 250-1300 what is a unit of measurement? Kilometers, miles, ingame size?

    Supposedly meters.

Unlikely, Atlas would have flown into space when it jumping

Meters or KM wouldn't change the planet-atlas size ratio. Going into cartoon physics, gravity is the same in every planet as u can see by the projectile trajectory. The smaller the planet, the denser.

It's all relative so pick whatever units you want but I doubt a commander walks at six kilometres per second o_O

A 1,000 metres radius planet has a circumference of 6,283 metres.

Some example radius 1000 travel times ignoring terrain:
    • skitter: 250 seconds (4 minutes) at 25 metres per second (90 kilometres per hour)
    • commander: 1,050 seconds (17.5 minutes) at 6 metres per second (21.6 kilometres per hour)
    • firefly in air layer (longer): 70 seconds at 90 metres per second (324 kilometres per hour)
For reference the actual moon is 1,737 times larger with a radius of 1,737 kilometres (1,737,000 metres) with a circumference of 10,921 kilometres (10,921,000 metres) so assuming a perfect sphere which it is not:
    • skitter: 5 days
    • commander: 21 days
    • firefly: 1.4 days
Mach 1 is 343 metres per second or 1,235 kilometres per hour. That would be a very fast firefly.

Not sure I would want to play a game with real distances and speeds.
    stuart98 and lulamae like this.

It's just relative size between elements of the game and has no actual unit
