The Latest From Star Citizen (2.6, Star Marine, and More!)

So... saw the CIG holiday live stream last night, definitely not their best effort (although in their defense they kinda outdid themselves last year on the holiday stream and also they peaked early at Gamescon this year). I personally thought it was quite light hearted and fun, the main issue being they didn't show of Squadron 42. Still there were some interesting tidbits, the best one being a vid showing off the first of the Vanduul (the main antagonists) capital class ships, the 'driller'....

Just a note- this is by no means the biggest of the Vanduul ships they are working on, but at 1.7k long, it's bigger than the humans main capital ship the Bengal by 710m!

it's really awesome that each time a star citiced vid comes out you think : "woah that's hollywood level cgi is that a movie trailer?" and it's not it's live rendering in a game engine
