once i have the two screens up and running sure (i generally put it one the left of mmy second screen wich comes down to a "middle" of the two wich i love but the rx 480 comes equiped with tons of display ports and only one hdmi and nothing else. and i don't even have display port capable screens. so that's either an adapter or an upgrade for me. we'll see
You can buy a dp to hdmi cable which work fine as dp and hdmi are both digital formats. You'll only need a more expensive 'active' adaptor if you want to connect to an older analogue screen like dvi-i, or vga.
You can go direct from DP to a digital DVI-D screen. If it's an older DVI-I (analogue) screen you'll need an adapter in between to convert the signal, although those aren't that expensive. I've done a lot of work with multi screens- you'll be able to populate *all* those outputs if you want (and with a DP MST Hub you can go up to 6 screens on most recent AMD cards, apart from the entry models which only support 3).
are you sure it's not misguided? Sometimes it's really hard to come to terms with the fact you're in a manipulative/abusive relationship.
