Unit selection / No nukes / No game enders mod? (with AI support)

    Hi! I've been searching for a Unit selection or No nukes or No game enders mod with AI support. I'm not sure if this exists?

    I stopped playing this game a while ago because of there wasn't the option. I really liked the variety of games you can play in coop using the unit manager in Supreme Commander, was hoping for a patch/mod to add this support.

    Should be possible to combine multiple unit removal mods for a similar effect. Probably not too hard to make, but incompatible with other unit mods of course.

    it's actually not possible to make a unit selector mod that also changes the AI

    Could you just make a mod that makes them cost stupid expensive. Like a billion.

    The AI probably would not need changing, if it is unable to build a certain thing then that thing just won't be built?

    yeah but you can't change what the AI builds from the lobby via JS.

    Maybe if you tie a new AI type with the mod...

    But how to make restrictions? Can we change unit_types on the fly?

    Simple unit selection / restrictions will be added to community mods at some point.

    Unlike the original unit selector mod these are server based changes and you cannot work around the restrictions on the client.

    This will work for the AI but will generate a lot of log spam if --ai-log is enabled as the AI will try to build units that are not available.

    Merging multiple unit server mods is possible but the real issue is the build bar, strategic icons and prioritisation when resolving unit conflicts.

    HodgePodge like functionality would need to be part of community mods to avoid weird results.

    Server script and some live game changes are required to enable unit selection in the new game lobby.
    ie after server mods are uploaded / mounted

    It should also be possible to allow per army and AI unit selections.

    Basic server script support for new game lobby global unit restrictions will be in next patch.

    Includes support for server mods and AI.
