    That's an INCREDIBLE flucking read.

Oh and they're going to represent themselves. Because of course they are.

Jim Sterling is going to win, but here's to hoping he isn't screwed over by the process or the fees involved.

Digital Homicide is going to try and hunt Sterling down after he loses this.

I'm sure it varies between states/countries but DigiHom may end up having to pay at least SOME of his fees.

I thought YT decided to offer legal money for him because of the number of unnecessary and unfair DMCAs against him, would this not be a continuation? Obviously he's going to win, if it makes it to court. He might be able to get fees recovered because this is pretty much a frivolous law suit.

Chances are the court fees will be payed for and he'll get some back on the count of frivolous law suits.

There's a possibility of other consultation fees, and the time spent on the case could be a drain on his income as well, reducing time spent working/producing content. If any of his videos are suspended during the case that could be an issue too.

Court cases can also go on for god knows how long if it's fought hard enough.

I'm not sure YT will give him support since it's a libel case and not a DCMA case.

Well, it is paid for by donations and such is it not? So more exposure does increase the likelihood of more money I would have thought.

True, but traffic itself does not directly financially benefit Jim.

And you are going to make a new thread instead of adding onto the old thread that you know you had already made about a year ago. Because of course you are. ;) jk

Also, the crowdfunding thing was retracted by Digital Homicide, because they always put **** up and take **** down within hours. This time, it was because, people quite ******* literally donated the smallest amount possible, as many times as they could, to generate processing fees per charge, that actually cost more than the donations. In-*******-credible and out-*******-standing, that is impressive work on behalf of the internet community to stick it to that guy.

I appreciate the compliment but you overestimate my memory.

Well that's not entirely true, it IS brilliant.

Too bad I have basically zero control over it.

Do I remember that flucking train mission from San Andreas? YEP.

Do I remember how to do derivatives? Nope.

Jim Sterling and Digital Homicide deserve each other. They're both A-holes. I think DH would be out of line against any other person, but the DH-Sterling relation makes it look like they were made for each other.

Are you one of those people that think the whole "thank god for me" super-narcissist persona is for real?

honestly I don't think Jim sterling is an ashole. he's on point with a lot of what he sais. his style is the rant style and that can get unnerving when on a loop but it works with his content.

Nope don't care for that stuff. In fact I watch a lot of his vids. Honestly I can't think of anything right now actually, all I remember is rolling my eyes a few times in the past. I could have worded the above post better.
