U wot. I just normally see him as quite critical of things. Anyway fine, maybe I should rewatch Zootopia and learn to be a good person! Amazing movie btw. <3
https://managore.itch.io/roguelight It's a free roguelite. Fun and simple with elegant mechanics. And a punny name.
A) This would be ridiculed just as much if everyone was phasing through each other. B) Multiple people can talk to the NPC at once.
https://ashervo.itch.io/royals I am absolutely terrible at this game. EDIT: Wait, no, I beat it once.
Hype i dont understand. Played DS2 (DS1 had such horrible controls i deinstalled after 10 minutes and took the $5 loss) and thought it was more of a quicktime event simulator than a game. Basically if you figured out the combo to beat an enemy, then that's the combo you have to use else you'll invariably die. Try to shake things up? dead. It's sort of ok for enemies (at least some variation) but after fighting the hoplite, i realized that boss fights were the same roll-roll-rol-attack-attack ad infinitum (with even less wiggling room than regular enemies) i just quit. I don't really know what kind of gaming history people have that makes them like these games, but i'm certain it's extremely different. What's worst of all is that i see tons of people being snobby about beating a game supposedly being "difficult".
Do you even controller bro? Sorry but this is genuinely laughable. I laugh at thee! Ahahahaha! Not really. Different weapons attack differently, and it's not like you can't use different weapons. Do you even different weapons bro? DSII was heavily criticised in part for having 95% of bosses be "a big dude in armour". Go play DSI like a real man. Masochism.
I'm not going to buy a controller for one game. I bought DSI cheaply (5 euros or so), i'm not going to splurge a couple of times that on a controller for that one game. In the time that i played, i didn't find weapons truly worth swapping for. If memory serves, i found a good sword and used it mostly.
while I agree with the sentiment that Dark Souls is repetitive once you know the trick. ...that's exactly what I did. I bought an xbox controller for rocket league and it felt like the weirdest thing ever as I was making that decision because I've been a PCMR all my life and that I be touching my first controller at 25yo shows that but I don't regret it one bit. it's worth every damn last penny.
So use it for other games. Different weapons have different levels of reach and effectiveness vs armour or flesh or whatever.
