so i just played a couple rounds of supreme commander 2 (without the addon) on console with a controler .. since it´s available for free this month (this beeing 01.03 till 16.03. if anyone cares) for xbox goldmembers who can get xboxone as well as xbox 360 games for free ... yeeeeaaaa ... ... playing with controller is kinda okey-ish but realy not having the streaming eco you are used to from supcom or TA and PA is such a massive pain in this game ... uuuuggggghhhhh ... ( it´s said this has been patched in the pc-version though) one thing i don´t get as well why you can´t draw a rectangle in the consoleversion ... your cursor also is fixed in the center of the screen all the time ..
where'd you read that? Revamp mod partially does this but the PC version definitely doesn't have streamlined eco vanilla. and I agree. it's the worse thing about supcom2
... sometimes i just HATE gamingsites -_- ... http://www.pcgamer.com/supreme-commander-2-patch-reinvents-its-economy/ http://www.pcgamer.com/major-new-supreme-commander-2-patch-reworks-economy-the-games-not-ours/ http://store.steampowered.com/news/4454/ http://store.steampowered.com/news/10155/ so yea there WERE ecopatches but not the one i hoped for ...
that's the way hype works. you get overhyped for something you really want and you read stuff as actually being that thing you want when it's not, make big noise about it before checking your facts and bim! it's a rumor! I think that's what happened with these two gaming sites. It wouldn't surprise me as they used to be big fans of forged alliance.
What that patch did was make it so that when you queue things you don't pay for them until construction begins rather than as soon as it's queued (which was incredibly lame)
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=640434155 I decided to put the latest stable version of Behemoths up on Tabletop Sim. The grid acts kind of weird for snapping, I have no idea why. Rules are linked in the description. You have to spawn your own damage tokens. I suggest dice, then enabling the "snap" feature on them so that they center when moved. Regular tinyfied tokens work too.
