You can blow planets up. But what happens after the commander wins. You just go straight conquering more solar systems. And you can't revisit the systems you have conquered and manage the planets. I think there needs to be a reason to go back and manage your conquered planets and maybe tie the industry into it. Because it would make sense the more planets you control the more resources you have at your disposal.
I think the idea is that flying through space or sending resources to other solar systems is very expensive. This is why the progenitors created the commanders in the first place - it's just a lot more efficient to send one single unit that can create a whole army in minutes.
The cost would be the cost to set up a teleporter. A teleporter that is already added to the game. You see this adds a new dimension to the game. Reinforcements could arrive. Supplies during battle. Trading between neutral planets. More ways to build an economy.
Everybody knows that teleporting inside a star system is trivial but teleporting from another star is a very different story... xD
no haha that's not what i mean I mean realistic in terms of money and Uber as a company. This game isn't receiving any more big official updates.
It's galactic war, which in theory is all javascript and shouldn't be too hard to mod as long as the game doesn't do some lame crashing once you get into the match.
