PA.exe stopped working while generating planet as the same action during commander land on surface

He PM'd me with his dxdiag, the drivers were from 2011 so he should be good to go (with updated drivers)

I downloaded recommended drivers for AMD radeon HD series 6..... and 7.... M (CATALYST SOFTWARE SUITE almost 268MB) Unfortunately it works wrong my graphic card AMD radeon HD 6650M is probably unique and there is no updated drivers.

I attached my DxDiag file as well.


I start the game normally PA.exe crash in two cases first when I try to generate the planet second when I cklick "annihilate" button and the commander land on surface of the planetI have no idea what to do? please help me

Did you try the latest driver from:

Zero chance PA will work well with your current outdated driver from 2011.

My logs show open_gldriver as reasen of crush ???

I have tried to find out sufficient latest drivers for AMD HD Radeon 6650M (Mobility) installed on my laptop I didn't find it at AMD official website

I have downloaded drivers and installed It works improperly I can't change graphic GPU in catalyst control center so when for example I start Flight simulator X there is no another just Mobile Intel (HD) Graphics card and there is no way to change this to AMD radon HD 6650M dedicated card

So probably there is the problem how to change graphic card?

You may also need to update the Intel HD graphics drivers to allow for the proper switching to the dedicated card. It sounds a bit odd, but I've seen it working a few times. For your CPU, you can get those here:
