palobby.com is now hosting the PA Stats server.

For those interested the combined stack is:

• Nginx 1.8
• Tomcat 8 / Java 1.7 (for PA Stats using Scala until compatible with 1.8)
• Apache 2.4 / PHP 5.6
• Percona MySQL 5.6 / PostgreSQL 9.4 (for PA Stats)
• Debian 8
• Linode KVM (8GB / 6 cores / 192 GB SSD / 8TB transfer / 40Gbit network in / 1Gbit network out)
• NSONE / DynECT anycast DNS
• NewRelic (server monitoring)

Hosting cost is currently US$100 per month (Linode 8GB + backup).

Updated to latest strophe 1.2.3 source which should help with stability and reconnects.

Experimental chat support is now enabled for the following browsers: (no Firefox yet)

• Safari 9+ on OS X
• Mobile Safari 9+ on iOS
• Microsoft Edge

Fixed updating of changed display names.

At some point requestUserName was removed when display names were changed over to the LeaderboardUtility.

Also changed search to look for both UberName and DisplayName.

PA Chat now has some experimental auto status updates when:

• viewing the games browser
• hosting or joining / spectating a new game in the lobby
• playing, spectating or reviewing games
• designing in the system editor
• queued / playing ranked

Still a work in progress and status is currently only shown to friends.

Auto status updates are now shown in chat rooms.

by now I really find it kind of funny how people waste their life posting stuff like that all day.

PA Chat now automatically check tournaments to:

• only the show the PA tournaments button to active players in an active tournament
• spams private chat messages to active players in an active tournament to join PA tournaments room

Tournaments go active 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

could you integrate or mimic the mod "contact replays" by mereth so that people in chat can be right-clicked?

also, could you make a simplified list of names in the chat optional? meaning i like don't like seeing their badge on the left of their name because it makes it harder for me to drill down the list and find names or see who's on and so on...or just put the badges on the right instead of the left of their name?
