SuperCommander (running tournament)

Monthly was too much work, cause had to ctrl-h replace weekly with monthly and look up previous contestants and find a datetime where most of them could show up.

I really don't like Double Elimination it just triples the running time and increases the wait for everyone.

If there are less then 16 players I might do BO3 for whole tourney.

Really the only reasonable format (timewise) for beginners is swiss but then the competitive folks don't like it.

There is only one solution, train those bronze, silver, gold players to become better.

well, im too lazy and don't have the time to organise this anymore. So if proeleert doesn't want to do monthlies anymore then thats that

Next time i come down to Melbourne for a conference, demo party or something... i will hunt you down AND I WILL MAKE YOU PLAY PA!!!!!

Thanks to all that have signed up to Supercommander so far, and i hope you guys have had fun. We'll start Supercommander weeklies again sometime January maybe. In the meantime, have a great christmas and holiday!

Also, it's become apparent that splitting a small ammount of money between so many people is pointless and probably annoying, so i won't be doing prize pools for this anymore.

Yeah um, PRoeleert, can we do something about PA Stats? I can't say I'm fond of having my "personal" information accessed everytime I have to play a tournament. It's like you're trespassing into my life, soul, and body and whatever illeg... legal things I'm doing.

i second that... it makes it really really hard to change my name and play alone because account names have become so traceable and i always forget to turn off pa stats for one or two of my games after the tournys >.< =P Sometimes i just like to play in peace you know Jokes anyways, i'm not fussy but it'd be cool if there was another way =)

And to be fair, honor isn't worth anything to anyone anyway except for maybe as the occasional and humorous conversation starter.

If the money is what motivates you, then what do you do in PA? Never been a lot of money on the line. No point in pouring money into a smal e-sports community that barely have 10 players signing up.

Im just teasing you to motivate but you see my point right^ I sign up and create tournaments occasionally. It is for fun, to hang out have some good games and talk in ts. That i currently what Pa tournaments are.

Well I'll give 5 € to the one that can beat Oxide Ion in the BO3 Finals there.
