Usually after about 3 or 4 minutes everything except for metal nodes and all units and buildings turns black and I cant figure out why I have tried online play and galactic war
That's weird. I haven't seen it turn black mid-game before. Usually it's right away. There are slightly newer drivers available for your GPU from October. (Yours are from July). I updated drivers and tried again it waited till about 7 minutes in this time but still all black except for metal nodes and units/buildings new dxdiag for you there were beta drivers there also should I try them
I have now updated to the beta drivers and pa.exe gives me a black screen than stops working and closes another new dxdiag its also through steam if that is something that is needed to know
Yeah, just stick with stable. Can you try turning off HDR in the game graphics settings and see if that helps? And also try to play outside of Steam. You can do so by starting the PA.exe directly. It will be in off-line mode probably, but you should still be able to play an AI game.
20.19.15.4300 went back to this driver version still get black screen now game wont start even when opening the game outside of steam
Huh, I'm not sure what you installed. The driver date is now January instead of August. With "stable", I meant the ones you were using when you posted this.
