I have recently purchased the game with titans It has been crashing at random point any were from the start menu to killing a enemy comander. I have 8GB ram and like 40GB of virtual ram AMD quad core 3.2GHz 2GB AMD R7 360x Graphics I have looked at multiple "fixes" and none have worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Since you didn't say which "fixes" you tried, I'm afraid I am going to reiterate some of them. Sorry! Windows: Did you check the list of software that is known to interfere badly with PA? http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/558751813508748383/ Did you try the clean boot? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/ If you've already tried those two, can you post a DxDiag.txt? You can make one by pressing <WinKey>+R, typing "dxdiag", and pressing "Save All Information...". You can upload the resulting file here using the "Upload a File" button on this forum. Other helpful files are the PA logs. You can find those in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log". Just copy-paste that location in the address bar of Explorer. Linux: Which distribution are you using and what version? Are you using the open source drivers or the propietary ones? And which version? Can you some PA logs? You can find those in "~/.local/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/log" Mac OS: Which version of Mac OS are you on? Can you some PA logs? You can find those in "~/Library/Application Support/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/log"
Im on a windows 10 system i have tried both of those fixes They did not work for me i looked at some of you posts on other threads and i plugged my headset and deleted notepad++ and i think i may of got it working but i didn't play for very long so here is the file I appreciate your help
Well, if you stop getting crashes. Good! Otherwise there are some things you can try: The log you posted indicates a crash in aclayers.dll, which can be caused by corrupted systems files or apparently by running the game in compatibility mode. Are you running PA in compatibility mode? If so, try turning that off and see if it helps or post a new log if you still crash. To check for corruptions, the easiest way is to use the SFC tool that comes with Windows. Instructions for that are here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833
