I got Titans a day or two ago and had updated my nvidia driver before getting the game, now it crashes and quits every time I play it, saying: pa.exe has quit working. Upon start up the game informs me of the crash and says to ensure my nvidia drivers are up to date (which they are). What can I do?

Sometimes other software interferes with PA. You can check the following list:

If that doesn't help, can you post your DxDiag.txt? You can make one by pressing <WinKey>+R, typing "dxdiag", and pressing "Save All Information...". You can upload the resulting file here using the "Upload a File" button on this forum.

There are also log file for PA itself in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log". Delete all of the ones there, start PA and make it crash. Then upload the newly created log file here.

No programs on that list match anything on my computer, here's the dxdiag.

Well, it seems to be crashing in the graphics driver according to the crash reports in your DxDiag.txt. If you are playing through Steam, can you try turning off the Steam Overlay for PA?

Another thing to try is performing a clean boot to see if that makes the crashing go away. Instructions are here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/
