hey peeps, lately I have been having trouble loading in the PA in game HUD. so basicly what that means is that I cannot move my camera angle I cannot move my commander see chat or buld anything. after waiting 10 minutes everything will appear eventualy and I can play as normal. but for competetive playing this is really a neckbreaker. I have tried updating my game cash, deinstalling the PAMM and reinstalling PA titans, but the problem is still there! help!
Can you try starting PA with --nomods? Deinstalling PAMM doesn't actually delete your mods. It only delete the manager. If that doesn't help, can you try doing a clean boot and try again? There may be a program interfering. Instructions are here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/
I do not see how I could have any mods, I do not have PAMM anymore and I deinstalled the game. I could however try that clean boot.
It's because those mods are stored in a directory outside of PAMM and PA. Uninstalling both PAMM and PA will not delete it. If you copy-paste "%LOCALAPPDATA%/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation" in the address bar of Explorer, you can find it. There are subdirectories there for the mods. It's also where your save games, settings, and Galactic Wars are stored.
