Well the beta hasn't even been released to the masses yet, so dumbed down is something I expected. Hopefully new content will come before and after main release like BF4.
Just watched some streamers play this. Looks like a real fun fps. Hopefully without the COD communities .
The graphics are outstanding. As someone who appreciates smoke that creates volumetric shadows, this game is beautiful.
I must admit to me, I don't see the 'battle' aspect, they're more like focused skirmishes. I rarely saw more than 3 players in any one clip I've seen, whereas BF2 etc you can see loads and they really felt like 'battles' if you get my meaning.
Modern games require modern hardware. Ya can't ask for new games with new graphics and new stuff and expect to run it on potato chips.
To add to what Gorbles said: those sys requirements are exaggerated (sort of). Just have at least 2GB of VRAM and at least 8GB of RAM and you'll be fine.
It said you couldn't? Also I love how EA created that new term because "Pre-order" has become a naughty word. ;P
I meant something else, was looking at a different term I think? Something similar though. Anyway I don't think I've ever hear the term pre-load before tbh.
Quad core, 8gb ram and a 2gb graphics card from 4 years ago...? (yes they've used Intels latest cpu's as the spec, but lets be honest they're no quicker than Ivy or Haswell in games, and even Sandy Bridge i5 and above are better gaming cpu's than a i3 6300). Sounds like similar requirements to PA tbh, whats the big issue? I mean you also need to keep in mind, this game runs on the new consoles, so in reality the system specs will be lower (given the weak Jaguar based cpu's in the consoles).
My body is ready and my pc is preloaded. I tried to start the client manually but the timer is hard coded into the .exe
