Here we will list all of the products which are great on on the cover but turn out to be major bitches (the make quality is bad, ect...)

    • Roccat KONE + (the make quality is unphathomably bad. they cut the plastic they mold with dust and pocket lint all their parts are bought from the lowest offer. it lasted a month before the most central piece gave in : the laser. But not before the scroll wheel started malfunctioning. On the outside it's a fantastic mouse. Inside it's hiding all it's dirty undergarments. Oh and their after sales service will tell you tough titty. Whether within warranty or no. Thing is they like that you can boast a warranty on a worldwide scale but after the fact claim that it's U.S. only. but apparently U.S. residents have had their fair share of displeasure with roccat after sales service.)
    • Logitech G710+ (Worst. Fabrication. Quality. Ever. only 3 months usage. 5 dead keykaps (two of which within the first two weeks). 2 dead keys one of which I managed to repair)
    • Xerox workcenter 6015 (supposed to be laser printer. runs out of ink and craps out within only a month)
    • OCZ Revodrive Mach 1 (fakeRAID tech onboard. the driver for that tech takes decades to load on boot defeating the entire purpose and CONSTANTLY craps out undoing your filesystem and ruining all hopes of seeing your files again. Props to their after-sales though. they were just fine with sending it back to factory 5 times in a row free of charge.)

Was your CTRL key the first to go on your G710+?

Yup, that's what we've found as well. So far I haven't encountered the issue, but everyone else who has this keyboard does. It's so weird how the buttons just pop off...

It's unusual to see something logitech fall apart like that. I only ever buy Logitech mice because they are such high quality.

hey I have a logitech 5.1 sound system and I didn't list it up there. but the g710+ keycaps are clearly made of sugar and saliva not plastic.

That's awful, man. Never had any problem with logitech but I'll definitely avoid that one.

As for a stereo, I have this from 2008 and it's still going strong. The only problem was the backlight on the controller died after less than a year, but who cares about that?

    mine's listed right under yours ^^ :p

yeah logitech's high-tier sound system aren't the ultimate in terms of sound quality but the make quality is exceptionally good (mine's been around a fair bit. had some falls. and even short circuit and still runs like new).

at first they bounce of when you type because there is already a crack along the t-cross and then as time goes the crack mirrors itself on the opposite side and then the t-cross splits right in two like a log being split by an axeman.

at first I tired cramming adhesive putty in there but that just accelerated the phenomenon. then I tired tapeing it down with electrician's tape which was okayish if it weren't for the corner keys bouncing out of their sockets and making it impossible to type because they were only hinged on by one side.

and now I've been ordering keycaps straight from america because who ever heard of mechanical keyboards? PFFT! Not Europe! and now I'm up to 42 bucks in diverse keycap orders in total and I 'malready dead certain I haven't yet seen the end of it.
