Mac user here. I have had issues with my isp where small internet disconnects would cause me to disconnect from the game. Because my game doesn't give me a prompt to reconnect I have to close PA and relog to get the option. However I have noticed multiple times that upon reconnecting that none of the armies including my are visible. I can still see effects of weapons like ragnaroks and annihilasers as well as UI updates for lost units and idle fabricators. The only fix seems to be to quit and reconnect until the issue resolves itself or to simply surrender and try another game.

They live in "~/Library/Application Support/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/log". The folder is hidden, I think, so in Finder go the "Go" -> "Go to folder" and paste it there.
