SuperCommander 2v2?

Just seeing if there is interested in a 2v2 format for the next supercommander (week after Able).

Only if i can find a partner though... pretty sure i'd drag everyone down in a 2v2 but ^^ YAY! i'm sure the NW guys would be so happy =3

While true (Amplus, perhaps), there are much better options for 2v2s. Multiplanet brawls are more relevant, and the planets should be at least 800 in single planet systems.

Yeah that's the reason I'm asking to see if there's interest.

Offcourse 2v2 maps if someone comes up with a great selection we'll just use that.

I think should just do it. If only just as a once off to see if people are interested. Build it and they will come. Now is best time to try this since there's a big gap due to other tournaments so people have more time to organise teams.

No big deal if ends up not being many teams for one week. Just won't do it again in the future.

I know this is to cater for the Aussies and kiwi timezone but a little later could bring about more players.

Multiplanet if used should only be for the finals, they just take way too long to have 14 teams waiting on 2 teams orbital stale mate for an hour.

I find that more players like 2v2's as they don't feel pressured as much and it's more fun to train for etc. would be great to see some huge 2v2 games with Titans and the likes.

Maybe if you are struggling for people you could announce a team tournament a long time in advance to give people the opportunity to find a team / practice etc

I'm all for it being later, I want to switch times every supercommander one good for eu one for us and one for aussies. But don't know what people feel about that?
My suggestions are switching between 0800 UTC / 1200 UTC (current supercommander time) / 1800 UTC

Supercommanders are always Single Elimination so the waiting will be allright I think, but yeah no multiplanet first 2 rounds would be good.

Yeah! ! So cool a team game tournament! I would see to manage 3 NW team.

And if we do a multiplanet thé systeme need to have a ender like smash or annihilaser etc... But pls if you do a single planet add à little moon with no metal for use the orbital staff as is full potential.
