The sad thing is the express is a well known national paper (albeit a tabloid)... Also this story has been around for a while.

You have to remember, any prophet who wants to be taken seriously has to predict the end of the world :p it's a rule, it's also one of those things that eventually somebody will get right haha.

With the way the world's reacting you'd think the world was ending due to Facebook daring to add a dislike button.

They're trying really hard to sell it as the "aww your dog died, that's not good" button. But if that's what they were going for they should've done a sadface and not the universal symbol for disliking something.

Did you not know, in bullshinobians bible, chapter 8 verse 2 it states:

"And lo, there was the second sign of the apocalypse when Facebook giveth the dislike button"

I'll bet $100 the world won't end on that date. Any takers?

That bet is kinda win win really :) you either get 100, or the world ends so you don't have to pay out.... Actually I guess that last part is a bit of an hollow victory mind :p

Well this is disappointing, not only is the world still around but that eclipse was pretty underwhelming.
I mean, the moon was kinda red... ish.

They always are. Solar eclipses are neat, at least. Lunars are good once, and only if they're not at 4am.

I can't even see the moon from where I am, I'm assuming it's just hidden behind some tree or house but I walked around the entire neighborhood and couldn't see it.....hopefully it's not behind the valley wall.....
