Anime- suggestions, comments, other. ^^

Okay so i'm a little bit out of anime to watch.....
Recently i got suggested Food wars (thank god i couldn't remember who it was else i'd be judging you so hard)... but seriously, fan service in the first like 3 or 5 minutes?!?!??! Like there was a squid... and a school girl.... that's already really REALLY suggestive.
Don't get me into the noises she was making, people already tell me off for the noises i make when i stretch... WHAT ABOUT THE ANIME?!?!?! DX

So anyways, running as far away from that anime as i can... any suggestions of anime????
Anime that i've so far watched and kinda liked include:
Gurren lagann, No game no life (shiro is so freaking cuuuuuuuute), Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Gate, Rokka, SOA season 1(season 2 got a bit teenage angsty for my taste in the second half), Akame ga kill , Is it wrong to try and pick up girls in the dungeon (no it's not porn.... i thought it was porn when i first heard the name as well), inu x boku, blade dance of elementalers, the pet girl of sakurasou, invaders of the rokujyoma, angel beats, clannad (angel beats and clannad made me cry like a little girl omg >.<), ouran high school host club.... and a few others but i think you guys get the gist. I like cute, generally happy animes but anything will do as long as there is a badass loli charecter jokes.

Seriously though, i have no idea and i really don't feel like running into another psudo softcore porn anime =P so....
ALSO NO ONE JUDGE MY TASTE IN ANIME!!! XD

Food wars is good. Just the way they use to show how people enjoy food is ... a bit weird.

Also: Working (with a few ! after it for the season number)

Madoka Magica is a cute happy anime with multiple badass lolis. Has the advantage of being on Netflix.

xD. I don't know how to explain it, I need to be in the right mood to watch anime. I have a whole list of ones I would like to see. I tend to prefer the ones that try to make you feel things. That usually means more mature than a lot of the anime out there.

Ahahahah oh yea i've seen madoka, if anyones interested this is a piano medley... it's amazing!!!! and really fun to play if anyone knows how to play the piano.... it's not hard, it's so pretty though <3 <3 <3


i don't think it's that sad, esp compared to a lot of other animes. I just like animes where the characters can hold their heads up high even in extreme diversity and still act selfless and lovely, isn't that what the world should be like? ^^

To me anime is most often about putting myself on the coach, switching of all serious brain activity and watching something simple. I am thinking about enough complicated stuff all day, no need to take that into the time I try to relax.
Years ago I was also looking to watch stuff that is "more mature", but by now I really mostly enjoy stuff where I don't have to think and get an easy laugh out of pointlessly cute drawings.

While i do agree that i like getting a emotions out of anime i have a feeling we want different emotions, you seem to go for ones that make you cry where as i want ones that make me happy.... humph... >.> I just can't handle sadness, there's to must of it in this world... WE MUST STAY STRONG AND BE FOREVER HAPPY, KIND AND LOVELY FOR THE GOOD OF EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed, I think that's the mood that I need to be in, I have to want to get into that place where you put effort in to understand and feel an anime. Otherwise there is something special to be said about the simple kinds that are just about conveying a happy little world, that's just cute and adorable.
I just find that with some anime though, the heavy reliance on tropes and shallow characters breaks that spell. I am still all for that light-hearted fun - just don't want them to try to be anything more when it shouldn't.

Heh, hey well I'm not saying I don't like your anime xD.
I really liked Nichijou, it's really light-hearted and funny/random. It doesn't even have much of a plot, just follows some students. Perhaps something for you to try.

Don't know if this fits your taste violet but I really enjoyed the above.

You'd love Fairy Tail. Especially if they finished dubbing it yet.

FMA: Brotherhood is my #1 best anime ever. Great stuff. Obviously of you're into never ending series watch Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Bleach is a good stock one too.

I'm pretty good on the piano and that doesn't strike me as easy... You can play all of that? I think I'd need the sheet music to learn it, too much for me to pick up by ear alone.
