Depends how you installed the upgrade. By downloading the installer from their website, it should've given you the options. Otherwise, it should auto-detect what you're on and use that as a base to choose from.

I got the option of 32-bit and 64-bit, myself. In two different flavours (Home and Enterprise, as I was upgrading Enterprise).

I like OK and apply buttons myself? Okay just sets it and reverses a few seconds after if you don't apply, but pressing apply first keeps it there no matter what.

Basically "OK" saves you from making dumb mistakes.

what mistakes? now any setting you changed is remembered without any extra clicks. the way it should be.

I think you're just too accustomed to windows 7-8 habbits

If you don't use express setting and try to turn off spying on setup it sends you into a reboot loop until you do. how very clean.

I turned off most of the options during the update process myself. No issues.

    Weeell..

When I changed my screen resolution with the CCC I pressed apply, which means it stayed there without a countdown to reset. Which is why I was fucked. If I'd pressed "OK" instead it'd have reverted back after 15 seconds.

Of course it wasn't like you were attempting to set your screen to an unsupported setting, ignoring all this warnings that pop up or anything :p

I think you may have hit "save" out of habit. It always pops up for me in CCC. Maybe it was borked for you.

And I agree @tatsujb , the "okay" and "apply" was needlessly redundant and silly. Very rarely did I need to hit "okay."

Ok I give up on windows 10 entirely for the moment. I can't get the Autocad suite to work adobe suite works on and off. ETHERNET works on and off (Why is ethernet of all things something that's hard? that will take time to figure out right?! WTF!!) the windows search bar refuses to open if no internet and that's handy because of the problem described above some of the more core features like inputting the activation key don't work the button literally craps out and opens an invisible window that will only close if you just type tab and enter a bunch. I'm running out of room for all the things to say that are crap and broken about windows 10.

why did they release it in this state???? what the FUKIN hurry??

I'm a power user. I run top tier software and provoke bugs with my daily use that encompasses that of 1 000 people's daily use of a computer.

Gather round young ones... Let Ol' Geers tell you a story.

Once upon a time, there was a thread called "NOPE!" and it was about O'l Geers not wanting Windows 10.

    Then the Dark ones came.

Gorbles, Servent of Cthulhu and SuperRobo Tatsu clashed. And a war between titans began. A war about whether or not Windows 10 was a demon from the deepest circle of hell, sent by demon Microsoft to steal your soul by spying on you and being ****.

Before long, the thread of NOPE! was unrecognisable....
