This is a seperate demo (not in the PA engine) custom built using Titan assets to show off scale in VR.

I can't possibly imagine a worse way to play PA:T.

    But I'm sure it'll look cool :D.

Oh wow that'll be fun, has the scale changed since it's original version? (Commanders being 20 meters and such. :p )

If it's popular, basis for a new project? PA meets MechWarrior, all in glorious VR?! :D

Is there a spectator camera mode in PA that allows you to walk around like a unit?
Because if there isn't, this shows that it would be awsome.

Sort of. With <Ctrl> + M, you can get into Debug Cam mode, which allows you to move freely over the planets. The controls are a bit tricky though. See Settings -> Keyboard -> Camera.
(There's also a Free Camera, which isn't bound to the planet surface)

Yeah, I usually use debug camera when taking screeshots, or if I'm looking at exactly how units interact with terrain or eachother in replays. It's pretty close, but I think it would be neat if we had a camera that had a set height above terrain, movement speed across the surface and simple mouse look. Maybe it could be modded in, I haven't really looked into modding in a while...

about that I've been messing around with it and i can't make those amazing low-angle-shots like we did before. I can't get low to the ground what's up with that ?

You should still be able to get low to (and underneath) the ground, I certainly can with that camera mode.

EDIT: Also lol WrongCat, stealing all ma likes.
