    PTE build 86641-pte - 8/25/15

    Bugfix/polish:
    Fix for crash when loading a save or resuming a game where an entity spawned and died on the same tick.
    Galactic War Titan cards will now properly interact with the orbital and air titan, and will not show up in Classic PA
    Fix for a crash in closestPointPlane
    Fix for a crash caused by units trying to initialize a celestial move task after their planet has been blown up but before the unit has been destroyed.
    When launching PA Classic on Steam when you own TITANS, the Quit & Install / Quit & Launch buttons on the popup now initiate the install or launch for you.
    Fix for AI crash on shutdown in the interplanetary request system
    Fix for a crash in BuildTask
    Fix for a crash when loading a save with a unit with a celestial body and no order.
    Fix for a crash when SimWeapon is verifying index in one place and not in another
    Make main.css rules a little more specific
    Fix some cursors on certain Linux drivers
    Updated Classic land neural net data.
    Sim units no longer kill the server if spawned with an invalid spec id.
    Shut down empty load_save servers.
    Set +x bit on published Linux files that need it. Fixes the Linux download not working out of the box
    Fix default parameters to panel.move.
    Fix for boolean inversion in the build task when creating the unit.
    Added a 'no-gpu' option to the panel api. This allows us to reduce the number of processes and interacting with the gpu. Enabling software-ui has been know to solve certain ui crashes, and this offers a more balanced solution.
    Titans should no longer teleport
    Titans land neural net update
    Titans air neural net update
    Never automatically set particle data format as PositionWithAlpha. The format is almost never used, and when it is it's usually by mistake and causes something to break.
    Events for enemy units will no longer be treated as your events. This bug was most noticeable with the idle fabber/factory widget
    Solar Drone (Icarus)
    -Underwater Vision decreased to 50 from 500
    Nuke Tank (Manhattan)
    -Armor Damage Orbital increased to 0.33 from 0.0
    -Armor Damage Commander set to 0.33
    Drone Carrier (Typhoon)
    -Ammo Demand decreased to 15 from 30
    Missile Drone (Squall)
    -Metal Cost increased to 90 from 30 (Only will affect repair speed)
    -Health Regen decreased to -3 from -1
    -Acceleration decreased to 80 from 90
    -Move Speed decreased to 80 from 90
    -Turn Speed decreased to 240 from 270

    So much for the theories that the Icarus was to be an anti-sub scout.

    Also, curious about the motivation for nerfing the anti-missle plane. I haven't seen it used once in a match yet.

    Ooooouch. Big nerf. -2 Feels better than -3 to me. I understand it was so OP that it was "broken" before, but as someone who's played around with these numbers, I know how much of an effect such a seemingly small change makes.

    EDIT: Also are we expecting more balance changes before next (stable) patch? These seem more like urgent bug-fix type changes, but it would be cool to get some "real" balance tweaks in the next one too!

    I wouldn't mind drones that last 10 seconds as long as they get replaced more quickly.

    I think it still has the same problem of crashing. Windows 10 Pro.
    If I run it in compatibility mode for windows 8 as administrator it won't crash but very bad framerate.

    In a PTE game against AI I clicked on the bottom right menu button and then clicked on quit or settings etc and nothing happened. I had to delete the commander to end the game.

    On the plus side the bug with the chrono cam fast forward not working is fixed.

    Am I missing something? Angel didn't get nerfed (Squall is the carrier drone?).

    About the Zeus, I hope this unit can be buff.
    I believe it is the weakest titan without other purposes, such as teleporter.

    Air-to-air units are much cheaper than the air-to-land units, so Zeus is easier to be countered than Ares and Altas.
    And Zeus gets unbelievably low HP, this makes it completely useless.

    I think we should review the purpose of Zeus.
    What is it good for? Long range? Area of effect?
    Well, its weapon range only gets 100m, according to the PADB.
    This is even shorter than its vision range.

    I don't know how to balance Zeus.
    Increase HP to 40000? So it won't die so fast.
    Increase weapon range to 200? Make it able to hide behind the supporting units

    By the way, I don't want Icarus to get nerf.
    The 500m underwater vision may be a special functionality for it.:)

    Exactly same issue. There are tons of people crashing with Windows 10. I set comptability to 8, but damn low bad framerate now. :(

    If only Uber cared to fix this. I have seen them nowhere reply to this issue.

    It might be actually fixed for me, so no idea. I tried many things to crash and everything was so far fine.

    There is no listing in the patch any crash issues were fixed.

    There is in the base game notes. Not sure why they've been split in this fashion since there looks to be a ton of overlap.

    They probably forgot or crash fixes are "a given". I tried to do area commands, spam units, explode stuff, everything that caused crash in normal version, and nothing happened. Game even works kind of better, loading times are far better.

    Let's hope it works. I'm going to try the PTE later and turn Win8 comptability of.
