Hi, it's been a while since I tried modding. I was thinking of a preoject that I want to make for the game but in order to even think of developing it I need some staff done before. This thread is for you modders who want to help me developing the first shield system in pa. I need some aknowleding of how the health funtions work, where are those and some other info. Right now I need ansewr to this questions: 1) Is there any way of modding how the health system works, making it possible to add a shield system? 2) if 1) is yes, is possible to display a secindary hit box for units? If not at least display effects that imitate the model of the unit? 3) Is in engine possible to create a rechargable health ( based of energy ) that doesn't interact with weapon ussage of energy? So I though maybe you @cola_colin Or maybe @wondible have the knowledge to even start the project? Also a dev answer would be extremely helpefull. @bgolus @jables ?

You just need a dome mesh effect and an anti entity weapon with super fast reload and turn rate. Then make it shoot everything... Shield done.
Also someone has already made an 'anti weapon weapon' I believe that intercepts dox / tank projectiles... duno where the thread is now though...
Perfect!! I was overcomplicating it xd. Even more that with the Ragnarok we have a hold untill fully filled function for weapons. This will make really easy for me the work. Thanks
One more thing... "Shields" don't stop beam weapons and weapons without a papa filename (only stops rockets and stuff)
