I'd be inclined to agree with them, the SupCom graphics are outdated.

I mean, I just looked up the game, and Ashes is comparatively ugly too. The Terrain is pretty unsightly. For it's age SupCom and FA are still damn pretty games.

Yeah.. I knew there was a "Supcom3" kinda game coming along, but Ashes looks really disappointing. The units look dull, load of floaty ships, the buildings look bland, and the terrain is hideous up close, looks no better than SupCom. All in all, from the designer perspective it just looks.. really boring, which is not the kind of feeling you want to evoke from giant battleships pelting each other with cannons.

To be fair to ashes: The game is extremely early in development. PA in early alpha was a horrible bugfest as well.



Clearly I don't actually use steam. I was forced to for titans until release.

I'm on 20 hours now and have played a bunch of PvP!

regardless of how good it looked when it was released, it's 8 years old and is beginning to show its age

Ashes is so new you can still find "recent" images where it did not even have trees implemented in the terrain
Not trying to go "it's awesome" here, I played a bunch of games in it and stopped as it is really really in development and I didn't feel like I have time for a game like that atm. But just trying to put things about the game in perspective.
