They did a small change with bombers as 5 bombers is no longer enough to 1 shot a mex. So I guess they got a minor nerf. but all in all. it is still very very powerful.

Build some bombers and use drones to kill enemy fighters, then bomb subs. Or... Advanced torpedo launchers destroys subs. I feel the Manhattan drop people are complaining about can be countered with spreading bases better and building a teleporter for the commander. Wait until it's nearly over your base, transport and then a lot of his metal is wasted.
yea, or go orbital as soon as you see they are going orbital too. It's good that you can't just ignore it
