    Let me sum up:

These are all random crashes. They are not related to mods, they happen with or without hotbuild or PAStats.
I have the latest drivers, just one GTX 770, and Win10.
I've crashed in the following situations:

Game ends, commander explodes. Freeze and crash.
In the middle of the game, freeze and crash.
Attempt reconnect. Game loads, but no units visible.
Attempt reconnect. Game stutters, freezes, crashes, and burns.
I have been unable to successfully reconnect to a single game since the update. I always get a crash upon reconnect. (EDIT: I was able to reconnect to one game successfully).

This is very frustrating. To the point of rage, as poor violet and the rest of the Realm can attest to. I never had these problems even in Beta - there was always a set of redundancy.

Logs and DxDiag attached. Enjoy. I'm at a loss. Also, I've attached the checkpoint.cdk that contains the crash IDs.

    EDIT:

[21:25:59.735] ERROR [JS/game] bundle://boot/boot.js:17227: Uncaught Error: Cannot write a value to a ko.computed unless you specify a 'write' option. If you wish to read the current value, don't pass any parameters.

There's the most obvious problem I could find :D

    Solution

I finally caved and updated my OS from the preview builds to full out win10. That solved it for me, but I believe ColaColin has it right when he mentioned that it was just the Appdata/Local/Uber Entertainment folder.

I had symilar problem, it occured when I used area command on entire planet. It made game freeze, crash, and unable to reconnect, crash every time.

I assume your solution was to not area command over the entire planet?

Yes, but game does crash sometimes too. My last crash was when planet exploded at the end of the game with Ragnarok.

It also appears that I have a massive memory leak during reconnecting that I didn't notice before. It fills up my 16GB right quick. D:

That one probably comes from some ui mod.
You sure you have that with --nodmods?

Mine was crashing constantly until I switched video cards. AMD r9 270x.
After I switched to the onboard intel hd no more crashes.

    Yes. Absolutely.

EDIT: The crashes happen with or without hotbuild, but that log was without any mods.

NEW UPDATES TO THIS AMAZING AND INCREASINGLY FRUSTRATING PHENOMENA!

    I now have crashed:

When a player with over a thousand units accepted an alliance with me.
When an adv. radar turns on over an enemy base
area patrolling anything over 50 units.

    What in the hell.

Haha. If you win playing on intel hd graphics you are really showing them that the framerate doesnt' matter vs true skill.

    New Crash, with mods:

I do not believe the mods were part of the issue - all have been updated to the latest build and have posed zero problems in the past 50 or so crashes I've had in the past day or so.

It also appears that the game has a more difficult time reconnecting to large games with lots of units. Reconnecting to a 1v1 didn't take much time and I didn't crash once, but reconnecting to a FFA6 with four planets in the mid-late game is nigh impossible.

Aside updating windows, what was the solution you implied about the appdata folder? I can't update windows as it fails with DPC_Watchdog_Violation every time unless I do a clean install, and I can't do that right now sadly.

Erase it so the game repopulates it.

Deleting that folder does not help. Im on newest Windows 10, so it seems pointless to reinstall, and its pain in the ***.

The funny part is that when I try Windows 7 or 8 mode, game does not freeze, but FPS is ****, like, 8-15 fps entire game no matter what. I dont know what is better, **** fps or crashes.

That is a very, very strange problem......

Have you checked your device manager for any issues?
