BUG: Mouse stops selecting units after a while

    Running on win10 and AMD.

    After working for awhile I can no longer use the mouse to select units, or interact with UI.
    It's kind of random what stops working, but always I cant use the mouse to click the UI buttons at top and bottom.

    Don't know whats going one here.

    I've seen a few reports like that. It seems to be a thing with Windows 10 exclusively. I hope they'll be able to track that one down... Maybe it's just Win10 itself that still needs to stabilize. But yeah, no known fix yet...

    I noticed this once, and then I pressed f5 and it was working again. I also have w10 and AMD. I realised it could actually have been that I accidentally activated the 'console', but it's hard to see if you did.

    I have the same problem. I can't select anything, though I can still use the mouse to scroll around.

    Win 10-64 Pro
    AMD R9 280x
    i7-920
    12gb

    Can't play

    I tried to drop down the launcher and pa.exe in 8 compatibility mode, though that did not help.
    Ill try and see if F5 does anything.

    F5 did not help me, but are anybody seeing a lot of Coherent UI (A Modern User Interface Library for Games 32bit) in the task manager?
    I have 25 of these processes running at the same time (and not part of the PA process), but belonging to something in the PA game folder.

    This happens to me in W10 too, but only when I have crossfire on.

    Yeah, there seems to be something in Windows 10 that makes the GPU keep crashing for certain graphics cards... Really odd.

    I don't have crossfire turned on for games without profiles, so Titans should not run with crossfire.

    So got some updates to AMD drivers on Win10 today. They did not help with the crashing though :(

    The issue seems to be a Win10 / Crossfire / AMD Driver issue.

    However, there's a work-around that fixes the issue for me:
    • Right click on the game in your steam library.
    • Click "Properties"
    • Click "Set launch options"
    • Enter "--software-ui"
    • Click "Ok"
    The only side-effect seems to be a black screen when returning to the main menu, which is solved by a quick alt-enter twice to toggle to windowed mode and back.

    Tried running it in a window with no luck (crossfire only works in fullscreen).
    I'll try the extra command to see if it helps.
