Hello everybody, I am here because I am experiencing something that is.. for lack of a better term, game breaking. I have a very laggy ingame UI, taking 1 or more seconds to actually load up the build bar and register the mouse-over effect. All of my settings are on low, i have nothing running in the background except for a youtube video, and this was a localhosted game. Please help me, I wanna get back into this game ;w; Edit: System specs are as follows: ASUSTek computer inc manufacturer, ASUS desktop PC M51AC Series model Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-4770 CPU 3.40 Ghz Processor, 16.0 GB of RAM 64 bit operating system, Windows 10 DxDiag below:
I have just tried it without any mods, and it still has the same UI lag as posted in the above video.
Could you try playing around with the parameter --coherent-options="--renderer-process-limit=N", where you replace N with a number ranging from 2 to 8". So you'd start PA like this (for N=2): Code: PA.exe --coherent-options="--renderer-process-limit=2" That will decrease the number of CoherentUI processes, which may affect the lag. I'm wondering if it makes it worse or better.
Ah right. For Steam, you can follow this guide: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1040-JWMT-2947 For the UberLauncher, you should be able to click on your username and there should be a menu option there to set those parameters.
Setting it to 2 made it worse, but then setting it to 8 actually fixed the problem, so thank you so much denim! I can finally get back into this game - u -
Huh, interesting. That was really more geared towards diagnosing the problem. Well, glad it worked for you. Out of curiosity, if you set it higher again (16, 24, 32), does the lag come back at some point?
